Chennai: Saveetha university is conducting its 8th Convocation on march 18th at 
3.00 pm at M.M.Convention Centre ,Poonamallee High Road, Velappanchavadi, chennai-77.

Dr.N.M.Veeraiyan, Chancellor, Saveetha university will preside over the function and 
award degrees.
Hon'ble P.Kamalanathan, Deputy Education Minister,Govt.of Malaysia will be 
the chief guest and deliver the Convocation address.
The following two eminent personalities will be conferred with Doctor of Science
(Honoris Causa) in the Convocation.

1.Prof.R.Venkataswami, Head, Apollo's National Institute for Re constructive Surgery,Microsurgery and Hand surgery,Chennai.

2.Prof .N.R .Madhava Menon, IBA Chair on Continuing Legal Education,National Law School of India University,Bengaluru.

Four PhD Scholars, 157 Postgraduates and 463 graduates,from the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry,Nursing,Physiotherapy,Para-Medical Sciences,Law,Management and Engineering Technology will be receiving their degrees during the Convocation.
